POLICY ON ATTENDANCE

Students are expected to attend all class sessions. Excused absences will be granted only in cases of illness, death, or other extreme family emergency. There is a grade penalty for excessive absences. (See the section on grading above.) Any request for an excused absence must be made in person and in writing. Any student misrepresenting his/her attendance, or that of another student, is guilty of academic dishonesty and will receive a grade of F for the course.
